Tony Todd as William Bludworth.

'You already did that by walking off the plane. Now you gotta out when and how it'll come back at you. Play your hunch, Alex. If you think you can get away from it. But beware the risk of cheating the plan, disrespecting the design...could initiate a horrifying fury that would terrorize even the Grim Reaper - and you don't even want to f**k with that mack daddy. '
- William Bludworth, giving Alex Browning advice on how to beat Death's design.

Bringing back fan favorite Tony Todd as the creepy coroner with knowledge about how to beat Death's design was a smart move. Final Destination was just not the same without him.

Whether it's Flight 180, the pileup on Route 23, or the Collapse of the North Bay Bridge, you can bet your last dollar that Bludworth the Coroner, played with sinister perfection by the Candyman himself, is there to give those who screwed Death over some advice on how to beat the design.

Not that it does any good, since Alex Browning took a brick to da face, Clear Rivers gets blown to Kingdom Come, Kimberly Corman and and Thomas Burke pull a Fargo and meet their end in a wood chipper, and [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Sam Lawton and Molly Harper, in a twist, died in Flight 180 and Nathan Gregory gets flattened by one of the airplane's engines.

Respect the coroner.

Trivia: Eugene Dix, played by Terrance Carson in the second movie, is known in the videogame world as Kratos from the God of War series.

Also, Devon Sawa (who played Alex Browning) was slated to return for the sequel, but had a payment dispute which caused him to quit the project, thus forcing the writers to kill him off.
