Yeah I always envision him looking like he's in his mid 30's, remaining that way for many decades before developing a streak of gray hair in his prime (70+). Also much as I didn't mind Singer's look as Clark, he didn't seem to have the right force of presence for the Superman part.

If they are really interested in starting over - putting the Donner films in the past - and doing the origin again, why use an actor in his 40's? With more films to come after it? Christopher Reeve was 24 when he started, and I've never heard a bad word about his casting.

brandon was not a bad superman.. the actor can only do so much with what the director gives him.. returns could have been so much better.. keep brandon and replace everybody else.. that hamm dude is closer to kingdom come superman without the silver gray hair..
Brandon was a excellent choice for supes just a bit on the young side and could have been a bit buffer. He reminded me of christopher reeve's, by the end of the movie. Superman returns was not a bad movie but it lacked villians. Lex luther is a pimple we need darksied ,doomsday or something els.
The dude from mad men? He's actually great in the show.(I'm wrapping up season 1 even though it's on season 4).
But come to think of it I can see him playing an older Clark Kent but a Superman, I dunno. he needs to bulk up nicely, for sure. but as far as being Clark, he'd be perfect.
the other considerations should be josh hartnett or henry cavill.
