A stripper clip or charger is a speedloader that holds several cartridges together in a single unit for easier loading of a firearm's magazine. A stripper clip is used only for loading the magazine and is not necessary for the firearm to function. It is called a 'stripper' clip because, after the bolt is opened and the stripper clip is placed in position (generally by placing it in a slot on either the receiver or bolt), the cartridges are pressed down, thereby 'stripping' them off of the stripper clip and into the magazine.
A moon clip is a ring-shaped or stellate piece of metal designed to hold a full cylinder of ammunition for a revolver (generally six rounds) together as a unit. Therefore, instead of loading or extracting one round at a time, a full cylinder of ammunition or spent cases can be loaded or extracted at once, expediting the loading process. A similar device known as the half-moon clip is semi-circular and designed to hold a half cylinder of ammunition (generally three rounds)—in which case two clips are necessary to fully load the cylinder.

lol everyone does need to know this.
Because clearly many people who claim to know a great deal of guns are really just the ones who picked up a hunting rifle with their father and said "Let's kill something!" and began to think that makes them an expert. I fired guns with my dad too, but I actually bothered to learn about the guns rather then just say "This one is fast, this one is heavy" >.> people must learn. LEARN THEY MUST!

Ya, stupid people, but why should the rest of us learn that? It seems to me that there are a lot more important things in life to learn.
It reminds me of a time when I was talking to gun collector. I told him I understand collecting rare or unique guns, but why would someone need a dozen M16s? His only reply was that he liked M16s.

XD he's preparing for ZA? I don't know, you really don't need a ton of guns, just a ton of ammunition with a few guns. Besides, the M-16 is going downhill compared to some of the new models, despite the fact that they are still in service. I'm amazed at how long things have stayed in service o.o the M1911 has a long date of service and I heard that they plan to replace the M9 with the M1911 as the primary sidearm in service. :O AMAZING!
I learned everything I know about guns from playing Call of Duty.
So, don't treat me like I'm ignorant on the subject. Do hoho.
