The Human Race has always been strong. They have always been the type to go to hell and back. Commander Jacob Keyes operated a UNSC ship and personally destroyed 4 Covenant Cruisers. For this he is seen as a hero. Despite his skill in the ship, he does not notice a Covenant Beacon attached to the ship which the Covenant use to track the ship back to the UNSC's Training Planet... Reach. The Covenant followed the Beacon back to Reach and it is there, that the battle began. The Covenant's victory was swift and easy, moving over Reach like a knife through butter, killing off humanity one by one. Though the Human Race fought back, they were not enough. Before long, The UNSC abandon Reach. The Human Covenant War on Reach has been lost. However, not all hope has been abandoned with it... Soon after the departure of the UNSC Ship "The Pillar of Autumn", another UNSC Ship comes into view. The ship is named... "Forever Night".
The Ship's Operator, a Lieutenant Major Cross, orders the crew to move into the planet's atmosphere, near the surface. They scanned for survivors. His plan was simple... Locate all surviving UNSC Soldiers and give them a choice. Die alone on the abandoned Planet or Join his crew and become a member of the resistance. The Rogue Ship, "Forever Night" spends only little time inside the Planet's atmospheres, gathering all abandoned personnel for his own personal use. After scrolling over the small section of the planet, the ship redirects its course and pushes back up from the atmosphere, moving back into space to formulate a "New plan".
~Rules~
1. No Godmodding
2. No "All Powerful Spartans"
3. Disobeying a Command from Lt. Major Cross multiple times can get your character dumped in the atmosphere. You can keep playing... If you survive.
4. This is a Military Type tactic. You have increased natural abilities but no Super-Type abilities. That means no telekinesis, no teleportation, etc.
Player Base You can play as the following. You have a 3 Character Limit.
-Spartan-III: The Primary Characters. They are the ones who go on the missions who generally survive (in this RP at least)
-Marine: A basic soldier who was rescued by the "Forever Night" UNSC Ship. High probability of death in the field.
-ODST: A special class Marine soldier. They are 10x better in all aspects than a Marine would be. They lack in comparison to a Spartan however.
-Ship Crew: They never leave the ship aside from death. Typically they assist the Spartan's for assistance with their equipment. The basic residents of the ship.
~Weapons~
-Assault Rifle: The Basic Weapon for the UNSC Troops. Has an average magazine size of 30 rounds with full automatic fire.
-Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR): The Single Fire Rifle for the UNSC. It has a locked scope above it and a magazine size of 16 rounds.
-Magnum: The basic UNSC Troop Side-Arm. Has an average of 10 rounds per magazine. It has a basic zoom function.
-Sniper Rifle: A high capacity powerful weapon for the UNSC. It has a 8x Zoom Function and a magazine size of four rounds per. It comes equipped with shield piercing rounds.
-Rocket Launcher: Fire's Explosive Rockets from the Double Ranged Barrel. Has a capacity of two rockets. Sits steadily above the user's shoulder.
-Target Designator: Directs a red beam toward the location it is pointed after the trigger is pulled, locking in coordinates. These coordinates are automatically sent to the UNSC's strike force for a precise Air Strike.

Age: unknown.
Rank: Spartan 060 held the rank of lieutenant grade 2 during his operational time under the UNSC.
Special traits: Spartan 060 is a Spartan II, with a Mjolnir mk VI powered armor, E.V.A. permutation suited for combat in vacuum as well as in an atmosphere. being a Spartan II he has greater strength, speed and (arguably) training than the Spartan III's. his armor and bio-augmentation also allow him to carry and utilize a shipboard A.I. within his armor. his physical size is also much more imposing than the Spartan III's standing over a foot taller than them. his body was also cybernetically and genetically augmented during his Spartan training.
Battlefield roles: 060 excels at ship to ship boarding assaults, acting a shock trooper to break through the toughest fighting. he can operate very well boarding ships via airlocks, or even by planting charges on ship hulls themselves from the vacuum of space. as such, close and intense firefights are his strongest area of expertise. while on the ground, 060 takes advantage of his extra strength and power to provide heavy support for his team. and in keeping with this fashion, he provides strong anti-armour/ anti-vehicle support.
Preferred weaponry: 060's tactical load out differ depending on the mission given to him, but generally he is seem most commonly with a Spartan laser on his back, an MBA5 assault rifle with extended 60 round magazines in his hands, and a magnum semi-auto pistol on one hip, with 2 to 3 grenades on the other. he also likes to keep a small supply of explosive charges around his waist for breaching duties. extra ammo mags can be found on tactical magnetic points of his armor, and sometimes within additional pouches strapped onto his chest and waist.
Psyche evaluation: Spartan- Soran 060 is, from a military standpoint, an outstanding soldier with a positive preference for battle unlike other soldiers. he is seen as level headed, and as having a gift for battlefield tactics on the fly. and very skilled at bringing down hard targets. from a Spartan standpoint, Soran is outgoing and headstrong, with a preference for close zero G combat and hard target demolitions. this often results in soran tinkering around with existing weapons and ordinance in an effort to create an explosive result that is often unnecessarily large, but very efficient in resources and application. his affinity for blowing up hard targets has a close second in Soran; ship assault. he positively excels in narrow corridor fighting and using walls and angles to his advantage. this coupled with the fact that his suit is air sealed, often results in him blowing new airlocks into the corridors of ships to "vent" his opposition into the vacuum of space. were it not for he fact that Soran is focused on achieving mission goals and is happy blowing up only the enemy military, the UNSC would have ad a very large problem on their hands with him.
Notes: spartan Soran 060 "sixty" to his former squadmates, was first encountered by Lt. Major Cross' crew amungst the debris of a covenant carrier in high orbit over reach. when Lt Major Cross and his crew found soran, the spartan was found adrift in space, in the midst of a massive field of debris that could only come from a carier sized ship. the entire field was awash in high levels of radiation, and sorans oxygen supply was nearly spent. this left the super solider unconcious while drifting in the vacuum. once pulled into the ships medical bay, they realised soran's armor suffered massive concussive force trauma, his entire shielding drained from explosive force and high dose radiation exposure consistant with covenant technology. and some of the armors systems were offline as well. there was nothing they couldnt repair in time, and once they ran a scan of his systems they found yet another surprise. as it turned out, soran had within his armor a "smart" A.I. with him that was unable to communicate to the crew due to damaged speakers in the armor. it may take the crew a few hours to safely transpot the A.I. to the ships systems, and to revive their newly aquird spartan II. he has lost all of his former friends, as well as his home. only time will tell how he reacts once he wakes up from the medical bay.
Appearance; (out of armor) Soran -060 is a very tall, well muscled man with sharp features to his jaw line. short stubbled facial hair over his jaw and chin, electric blue eyes, and extremely pale skin (due to being in his armor constantly) his hair color is very dark brown and cut short. out of his armor his body seems to be covered in scars, and his face is peticularly crossed diagonally over his nose and cheek with a long sence closed gash.

Bio, Extra Information: Soran 060 was part of the original batch of spartan II's, and is an expert at eliminating hard targets. He consiters any enemy vehicle or stronghold a hard target, from the smallest of mongooses to the heaviest super carriers in space. And suffice to say, Soran excells at finding ways to crack them all open. Some other Spartan II's who have worked with him on missions get a feeling of unease working along side Soran, due to his zeal for defeating his percieved enemies. While he has never compromised a mission before, it has led to an avoidance of him by many other spartans.
Before Soran could begin his next mission, the covenant made landfall and assaulted Reach. He and a team of specialists were given a top priority mission in low obit involving a covenant carrier. Sorans team were soon lost to radio contact, and not long afterwards, the entire covenant carriers engines overloaded and detonated. No survivors were expected, and no radio contact could be made with Soran or his team. He was officially listed by the UNSC as MIA soon after the battles of reach ended.
Alone and drifting through space, Sorans unconcious body drifted through the field of debris and radiation from the destroyed covenant ship. His locator beacon, smothered by the high radiation interfearance was not able to draw the attention of the UNSC ships as they fled the dying planet, but as the radiation spread out and drifted from him, it caught the attention of the pilot operating one last stray pelican in orbit. The small transport was drifitng relatively close enough to soran to pick up on his signal, and soon it was able to position itself enough to open the back passenger hatch. there was only one other solider inside, a single ODST equipped with full vacuum suit. the trooper pulled Sorans body inside with them, closed the hatch and activated their own locator beacons.
Shortly afterwards, the pelican pilot picked up the readings of a human ship appearing in the area, and after a brief exchange of signals, they found themselves docking into the ships transport bays. The ships crews rushed Soran to the medical bay and proceeded to make sure the Spartan was alive. after making sure he was simply unconcious and may be suffering a concussion, they made another discovery. Spartan 060 had an A.I. within his armour. the blast which left Soran knocked cold in the void had seemingly taken its vocal programs offline, and they needed to be repaired. the details of the exact mission, and the reasons for this Spartan to have an A.I. to begin with are something that the captain of the ship would be sure to want to find out.
Appearance: Spartan 060 was found wearing Mjolnir Mk VI E.V.A. powered armor. ( http://www.bungie.net/images/News/I...an-steel-01.jpg ) this armor setup was prefered by him for space operations, giving him the highest degree of visibility. and protection against his suit being breached. it offers extra shoulder, arm, chest, and back armor, with a full face visor lacking hardened defensive armor to protect the visor.
His physical appearance suggests that of a hardened veteran of countless battles. his skin is pale and jagged with scars all over his body and face from previous missions. his eyes shine an electric blue that stares through people when he speaks, seemingly not to focus on them all. his hair is kept a dark black stubble atop his head, and jawline. and his facial structure marks a sharpness to it that some might call handsome, were it not for the crisscross collection of scars.

I plan on having two characters, Pheo. One standard (an ODST which I will be posting soon), and one non-standard. I'll see how I can make it fit with the current character sheet.

Well you can make a Spartan-III but unless you have good enough conditions such as full knowledge on the Halo series you can't make a Spartan-II sense I want to keep those as limited as I can.
As far as being a pilot goes, you can pilot really any UNSC Vehicles or hijacking Covenant vehicles. Sense we are on the ship "Forever Night" you would be one sent out in another Flight-type vehicle to protect the ship during a combat situation.

i think you can be a dropship pilot from the forever night,s crew, or you can be the pilot that picked up my char with xans ODST in the pelican.. either way is good, i suppose. but what kind of pilot would you be? combat? flying a longsword or a sabre intercepter ship? or a dropship pilot that flies through hell to drop off and pick up and resupply the troops?

basically whatever offers the most challenge to my guy, so probably the dropship flying through hell thing, or just being a team pilot, flying whatever the hell the job called for
and as for my knowledge of the Halo verse, i've beaten halo a few times and (surprisingly) taught all my friends who were far bigger halo nuts than me a huuuuge glitch in the level where you go through the swamp that leads toyou fighting the covenant for the first time, haven't played all of halo 2 (but read the plot summary on a wiki somewhere) beat halo 3 a few times (mostly for achievements and the joy of going apeshit melee badass on brutes who use a bubble shield) played through ODST a couple times and have yet to touch Wars or Reach (dont like console RTS games, would have orgasmed over it had it been on the pc, and Reach i can only find the legendary edition, seriously, its ****ing everywhere where i live, and i dont have 149 dollars to drop on the game, hell i only bought the 100 dollar version of ODST cause it came with a controller, and thats like paying 1/4 price for one of the two things in the box) but i've read up on alot of halo stuff and also watched legends, read the graphic novel, watched the live action ODST anddddddd seriously ****ing want them to do something that picks up where halo 3 ended, whether a movie, game, graphic ****ing novel, hell even a radio drama

heh.. sounds like you have a good grasp of the game.. halo wars happens before the events of reach, and only really matters when you think of it while reading ghosts of onyx. halo two happens after reach, and is therefore in the future of this rp.. SO! the only stories and games that matter to the plot are reach, and maybe first strike... everything else just backs you up on lore, weapons, ships, and protocol..
but halo wars, despite being a console rts, was petty interesting in seeing just what happened all over the outer colonies.. ive read all the books.. played all the games. (still need to finish the reach campaign, but im hving too much fun on matchmaking) the only thing im lacking is the halo legends dvd... which i saw a clip of via preorder and having the new halo reach xbox, and i gotta say... i hated it... but eh..
