ok, firstly ... please, no caps
ok, here's the list:
1) TPM: on the back of a droid JarJar knocks over
2) AOTC: after the final battle with Yoda, three or four soldiers run in, on their helmet is something red, they form 1138 (this one was reveiled by the JC Council on SW)
3) EpIII: ...
4) ANH: "Prisoner Transport from celblock 1138" (Luke in the Death Star)
5) ESB: "Take squadrons 10 and 11 to section 38", Rieekan somewhere in the beginning of the movie
6) ROTJ: (still speculating): you see the ghost of OB1 and Yoda (1 and 1), then Anakin's ghost joins in (3) and the last shot is where you see every main character sitting and smiling (they are with 8)

They say that there is no 1138 in the sand, but I swear up and down it's there, I can easily see it.

I've never looked for it there...and I just can't see that 1138 on the clonetrooper helmet!
Also, EU, but I guess that works with this section, but one of the ships outside of the cantina has 1138 in the ship type name thing.
