If you take the statements at face value, no.

Beyonder was 20 million times greater than the MU, supposedly. But that doesn't hold a candle to...

The Primal Monitor, to whom the DCU was a germ. We're talking numbers well beyond trillions of times greater, at this point.

erm

The Beyond realm was related to "an ocean", and the entire Marvel multiverse was related to "a drop of water" in comparison. Same coin, the Primal Monitor recognized the entire DC multiverse as "a germ" in comparison to itself.

It is nearly impossible to say which of those two is more vast (though I'd lean toward to PM myself.) However, it is logical to conclude that absolutely nothing would qualify as 'larger'.

No I wouldn't think so, Grant Morrison described the Primal Monitor was/is God/The Presence and also called it Kirby's "Source". Out of the 2 I'd wager the PM is bigger also.

But Kev, Shooter placed Beyonder on an equally "heavenly" scale.

Jim Shooter described the Beyonder

(Writer/Creator of Beyonder/SSW-I & II and Editor in-Chief of Marvel)

(reference: Marvel Age #52)

(please log in to view the image)

Jim states:

1. Beyonder "is a Multi-verse."

2. Beyonder "was like God before there was Genesis."

3. Beyonder's discovery of our Universe ... (Marvel Multiverse)

.... was like when inventor Leeuwenhoek, looked through his micro-scope ...

.... and discovered little paramecia swimming in a drop of water ... "

"We introduced the Beyonder
and established
that he was studying these beings
- us - he had discovered"

-------------------------------------------------

You know, I've thought this before, but on the strength of descriptions Kev,
if TOAA was a character in play at the time, TOAA which should be = to the Presence, (I disagree)
then TOAA was < Beyonder according to Shooter.

He didn't say that exactly but blatantly implied it in this interview.

I disagree, I'd put them as equals ... period.

Was The Beyonder ever more powerful than the Living Tribunal? I used to think so during the Secret Wars, but then Marvel turned around, and said that he was a lesser omnipotent. Can you or anyone explain this?
