The Dowd he erased an entire race everywhere with a thought. I have not seen a Q do anything like that.

Difficult to answer without us knowing just how powerful Kevin is, what else can he do?

If Q wanted to, he could do exactly the same as what Kevin did. Q are omnipotent.

So is Kevin omnipotent also?

He could be

Maybe Kevin was a Q or connected to them somehow confused

Feat wise, Kevin had the greater killing feat.

But as noted above, the Q can pretty much do anything, time-travel, create life, alter reality etc. If Kevin had been on par with the Q, he could have easily saved his adopted planet. eg hidden the planet, sent the attacking ship away, time-traveled to prevent the attack etc.
