So if the game does come out this year I'm guessing it'll be like October or November like Asylum and Arkham City did in 2009 and '11 IIRC, and we'll see some trailer footage and such at E3 beforehand.
From what I've heard, it's a prequel set in the 70's or 80's and featuring Batman's first encounter with the Joker. It's supposed to have the entire JLA in it. The stupidest thing is that they aren't bringing back Paul Dini.
After listening to him on Fatman on Batman, I would really hope they brought someone like Grant Morrison on this. I would love a section where Batman gets drugged by Joker or Scarecrow and you end up fighting Bat-Mite in the 5th dimension as the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh.

Honestly I just wish the whole thing had never been made. I LOVED the arkham games. I got the collectors edition of both! I had always hoped that it would end with Arkham City though. It was perfect to end it that way. That story was over but they could have taken advantage of a loose end villain from arkham city that was never taken care of like hush....just throwing that out there. Same batman and a new series.
I agree. When I first beat Arkham City I felt it made the most sense to just let it end it there instead of having another sequel. Harley Quinn's Revenge wrapped up the aftermath as well, though yeah. I guess Hush and Azrael are a couple side characters they could still take advantage of, but eh...
