the law of oaths ( character creation and discussion)
Title - the law of oaths
Story - you and your friends were born in the town of zerab the central of magic in this world Dominus who is trying to take over the world has found that by contoling this town he can significetly increase his power because of the concentrated power of magic in the town you and your friends escape only to be thrown into a destiny to stop Dominus evil and reverse the evil seals on the 7 orbs of magick
Gameplay - there are a total of 7 elements fire, water, earth, wind, light, darknes, and energy and 4 clases weapons master(- is strong in armed combat uses physical weapons like swords, axes, hamers) , mage(-usaly smarter than most of the other clases needig to know the basics of the power of the oaths and the magick that comes from them the use wands or stafs to increase there power ),archer(-uses a bow they need grate accuracy and alot patience), fighter (- uses glove and has alot of physical power or now a style of fighting) (if you can think of a class,put it on the form and i might accept it) plus there is the power of the oath wich consists of animals a mythical beings in gamplay you fight by typing in magical spells and even combanations of spels because your alowed 2 and enemies are controled by outhe players
Rules -you only now basic magic at the begining because we are still in traning no god mode and evolve at an acceptible rate your alowed 2 elements, 1 class, and 1 oath monster (for now)

So, a couple of questions first.
How do elements and oath monsters work, exactly? For instance, can other classes cast spells or that mage only? As for oaths, is it like a monster you summon, or to do you just gain abilities based on it?
If it helps, we can use Nate as an example. He's a weapon master, with energy and fire, and he has a dragon oath. So, he can throw fireballs, set his weapon (a sword?) on fire, and gain claws and breathe fire like a dragon. Is that right?

ya thats prety much the basics but every element has a special power like fire has extream destructive power enrgy i mostly used to incres your bodys power water has the power to heal earth can create plants wind is good with pirce attacks light can remove curses wile darknes creates curses at the beging stages you cant sumon the oath but you can after a wile mostly now we can turn parts of our boodies but later we can turn are whole bodies into are oath monster like with a dragon my body is coverd in scales my feat and hands have claws but i can still stand on two legs and i whould have wings plus i can breath fire but as long as you folow the basic rules you can use magic to your hartes content ( clases are just what you are mostly good at so you can still wield a sword will being a mage you just whouldent be as good at welding it as a wepone master)

I finally got a chance to read over it and it seems interested. Granted it seems quite a bit like "Destiny Orb", however it is different enough that I can acceptably commit to such a thing. However, I am unable to make a character sheet at this time merely because i lack some of the important information I would need to know for my character. Please answer the following and my character sheet will be upon my next post.
Name: Are there any specifics surrounding names? We are all from the same area, so are we all of the same type- Ex. American, European, etc.
Age: Being a child vs. being an adult affects the way I RP, what are Age sets for this? You say that this is the beginning and we must start with a lack of power so does that mean we are young?
Gender: Nobody has listed Gender, does this mean we are of one gender?
Oath: We can decide any oath we wish, it does not need to be a known creature so long as it is a creature dealing in that element?
Class: I enjoy the idea of classes but I am curious. Is it possible for me to create a sort of merger of ideas. A Weapon Master who instead of using physical weapons, uses Magical weapons such as a Sword created of Lightning? The drop back would be a lack of physical power.
Elements: I saw nothing about Lightning in that but my eyes may simply have missed it. Lightning is an element though it can be argued it is accelerated heat. Is it possible for me to choose elements such as: Lightning/Darkness or should I seek another choice of elements?
If you can answer my questions in a similar way I posted them, separated off instead of close together, I would very much appreciate it. It helps to make sure I don't miss vital information because of words packed so closely together.

I am thinking on my character. Either way that I do it, I wish to make my character on with a great potential before them. In an RP of Magic to fully enjoy it I believe one must take a strong stance over Magic.

Hmm...I see. I think mines going to be some sort of assassin type person with water/wind elements and the oath of a cryo-phoenix. Not sure yet, so I'm just going to wait till Nate answers your questions so I can have a fuller understanding of how to make my character.
