 American Pop (1981)

very well done, mature and stylized adult animated drama about 4 generations from vaudeville to early 80s rock of one family and how they struggle through life.

Loved this movie for 17 years since i was 12 when i saw it on TBS with other cool cult animated classics like Heavy Metal, Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival and Rock and Rule and became one of my personal faves i even bought it on VHS when it finally came out when i was 16.
