My girlfriend just got us a deluxe Wii U. The OS is unbelievably slow loading anything and it's impossible to either get on the internet or stay connected mid-update. We've been unable to update the thing cause it keeps losing the router and then can't find a connection again unless we restart it a thousand times. We have no access to any channel other than games and we've tried every ****ing solution online to no avail.
So has anyone got this piece of shit to work? All I see from other places if everyone's buying up Wired LAN adapters and even those barely work.
Should she just return this and wait for all these games to come out on PS4 as Nintendo pulls a Sega Dreamcast and gets out of consoles?

Well what's your secret to connecting to the internet and actually staying connected for more than 3 minutes?

Sony is actually a dying company; they're an inch away from bankruptcy. Nintendo on the other hand is in the prime of it's life, due to how amazing the Wii sold.
I'd be more worried about Sony Sega Dreamcasting than Nintendo.

Re: Re: Re: Has anyone actually gotten the Wii U to work?
People only say this because they don't understand the platformer genre.
Level design is key bro, each game creates an entirely new platforming experience, and New Super Mario Bros Wii U also has new powerups (such as the baby yoshis), is the first one with HD graphics, has an intersting, new art style, the boss battles are different, updated functionality (such as miiverse, or switching between the tv/gamepad), new game modes, and the booster blocks are a great addition (the booster block multiplayer challenges are freaking awesome).
You call it the same game because you're not a fan and you don't like/understand 2D platformers.
