Just to play Devils Advocate, this would not stop Nimrod; Nimrod can reconstruct from powder...

Its been theorized that Nimrod would have to be reduced to the molecular level to be permanently put down...

Seriously speaking, if Nimrod has shrinking rays, I'd give him the advantage over virtually anyone this side of Ray Palmer (The Atom).

Someone able to reduce you to 1/6th of the man or woman you are is a formidable fighter indeed.

Keep in mind that Nimrod completely dominated Classic Juggernaut...

Infact Nimrod dominated him to an extent that neither Thor or the Hulk have ever been able to...

No way does she get him all the way to the Sun before his counter-measures kick in and he adapts to her assaults (at the speed of light it would take around 8 minutes to get him there from Earth; thats way too much time for Nimrod to adapt)...
