The similarity between Iron Man 3 and GIJOE Rise of Cobra

The villains are so similar.

Both wants to control the terrorists and US together, by controlling the president. Both the villains focus on their technology weapon, pretend to just be the leaders of a tech company. Both girls on the villians' side were once lover of the protagonist and defected.
