(BTW, since this isn't really trivia, but pertains to movie titles, I'm going to throw it in the Movie Discussion forums)

Too many of these are wrong...

Star Wars- Does the phrase "a long time ago" mean anything to you?
Astronaut's Wife- That movie's just plain weird, not futuristic
The Core- Stupid, no future stuff
Underworld- nope
Labyrinth- Set in another dimension
28 Days Later- Nope
Resident Evil- nope
Back to the Future- only partially

Add-ons:
Jason X
Alien movies

All I can think of

"Flight of the Navigator" was BTTF, Jr.

"Star Wars", yikes. "A long, long time ago, in a...", sure. But what year was it set in originally, the date in which the story was being told, and when the story originally took place?

In football, you use your foot to kick the ball, hence the name.

Americans add throwing, pads, alter the length of the game etc, i.e. change it completely yet still call it football.

Then they call the original soccer, and expect the rest of the world to adopt this bastard name. Pish.

From hence forth American football shall be known as "soccer." by me.
