Given these showings, is a match between classic Thor and Martian Manhunter competitive?

I'm not saying the above are 100% evidence for a Thor win, just that TP and intangibility resistance are on the table in this match up, which is why i looked for scans.
To what degree i have absolutely no idea, though.
Personally, not to lowball Emma, but she is no MM.
Has she ever looked into the mind of a god?
According to that scan, no.
MM, however, has plenty of experience. From Black Adam:

To the Spectre (who, whilst no god, certainly is up there).
In contrast, Thor was told to sleep by Emma's superior (and MM's peer), Prof X. Even Doc Ock mind controlled him, although I am more inclined to call that PIS:
which is why I am inclined to say it is possible that Thor resists MM.
But basing it off Emma, who, whilst decently strong, usually relies more on skill and technique rather than force, as a basis for MM (who has both brute force AND skill), wouldn't be the way to go, for me.
Honestly? The whole blood magic thing is really overused.
I like the idea that J'onn is one of a kind, though. So, all in all, it's a step in the right direction. All martians having Superman-esque powers was boring.
Wouldn't that ritual make MM... well, magical, like Cap Marvel or Black Adam? And by that I mean, shouldn't he have a much easier time fighting Superman? Yet he got whooped by Superboy of all people... sigh...
That was my initial thought, the CM point you made.
As to Superboy, was that prior to this origin revamp?
Easily forgotten. I mean if characters like BP can retroactively become Marvel Batman, MM can now be a magical piwerhouse.
