Scoffield and Burrows (Prison break) vs Winchesters (supernatural)

Who would win between these brothers? Both have standard gear and equipment. Fight is in a recently abandoned warehouse

With prep

Without prep

The Winchesters have taken all manner of powerful supernatural entities including deities and Satan. They stomp.

A pair of inmates (albeit one is a very clever one) vs guys who have slugged it out with angels, demons, vampires, werewolves and a whole collection of other supernatural beings... yeah... mismatch. Dean survived a year in Purgatory. Highly doubt either Prison Break brother would last a week there.

I think the characters of prison break have proven to have a high tolerance for pain such as Scoffield and tbag. I think with enough prep Scoffield can conjure something to defeat the winchesters if he's willing to believe in the "supernatural." Sorry for that pun.

Someone who doesn't know about the show Supernatural might read this and think that Sam and Dean can literally slug it out with angels, etc. The reality is Dean has injured himself just by punching an angel. Then you have demons which at one point were written as nearly unstoppable and yet overtime became things you could just physically fight off. That just reminds me of vampires from Buffy and how eventually Xander could beat the shit out of a vampire and it wasn't because Xander was steadily growing more powerful as time passed.

Most of the supernatural beings they defeat..are defeated due to special knowledge. Like "this thing can only be killed by a silver stake" or something. All of their major victories came from them having help from powerful supernatural beings or powerful supernatural weapons.

I am not saying Sam and Dean aren't skilled or that they would lose this fight. Rather just that only reason they have survived up to this point was because God himself was looking out for them and continually resurrecting them. Random hunters were able to find them and kill them.

In terms of the creatures I mentioned, maybe it's true for angels and demons (though for the showings where things happen like Dean getting hurt, there are also episodes where Sam and Dean literally are slugging it out with angels, like in that one episode in season 10 where they were tracking some ancient breed of angel that was preying on humans). And Dean also used skill and intelligence to hold off a room full of demons with nothing but a magic knife and some holy water IIRC, back in a really old season when demons didn't suck. But anyway, the showings against creatures like vamps and werewolves stand, which is much more than the Prison Break brothers can say.

And as to Creature A needing to be killed via Tool B, it actually makes some of their feats more impressive. Like when they take out creatures like shapeshifters, who also display a degree of enhanced strength, on top of their resilience, they still need to stab them in the heart to kill them, so it's not like it makes those cases much easier. And the fact that they more often than not do succeed in finding the necessary tool to get the job done, it will help them in the prep scenario here.

Yes but you have to admit it's usually either a supernatural friend or some PIS that allows them to survive. Or they take the thing by surprise. They are skilled, I just don't know if I'd necessarily label them as beyond human.

I would. You can only chalk it up to PIS for so long. Sam and Dean now have 10+ seasons of that stuff. At this point, I'd definitely label them as above a normal human like Scofield or Burrows.

Why can you only chalk it up to PIS for so long when it just continues for a long time? They really don't overpower supernatural beings.

They have massive character shields, that is all.
