Nah, Azog kills Gul'Dan if the coward shows up on the battlefield. He tends to hang back and obsess over the Fel. Azog's orcs never abandoned him but Gul'Dan's orcs clearly defied him. Blackhand did so as well prior to his death.

So your claim is disproven in your own film.

How ? They are outnumbered, up against a better war tactician, and up against bigger foes in trolls and ogres.

Blackhand denied him and nothing ever occurred. He ignored w command from his leader in front of all the orcs. He did nothing afterwards to Blackhand.
