only saw the first two episodes of 'The Gifted' (stopped watching), but unless something radical happened in the 3rd episode, Gorgon murders this child with no problem because the kid has no control of his power.

Andy's getting better at controlling his power but he still lacks experience. Plus, he's still a kid while Gorgon is the guy who trained the Inhuman guards, so he's used to dealing with different powers.
