It's now only about a year before this comes out. I'll be pretty interested in seeing it because the previous two have been surprisingly great and this is the same director who did Dawn.
I thought Dawn was pretty effing amazing.

I would imagine it would, where Apes and Humans face off for control of the planet and it ends with the Apes winning and the implied decline of Humanity back to a stone-age level/being slave to the Apes.

I need to go back and watch the original film again.. it's been a while. Don't think I've seen any of the sequels either.
So once these new films catch up with the orignal are they going to continue running with it and basically remake them?

I imagine the prospect of a 4th film heavily relies on how well this upcoming third does. The first two combined made about 900mil in profit, with the 2nd bringing in the lion's share. Not too shabby for an old franchise which had a failed reboot attempt not all that long ago.

If this pans out this remake trilogy could end up being or at the very least vying for the top film trilogy of all time. All of these new Planet of the Apes films have been great thus far. Really looking forward to this.
