Only time I really remember them if from the 90's Marvel Toons. Mainly X-Men and Hulk.

Yea I remember them from the 90's X-Men cartoon myself. That was the first time I saw them. I remember Wolverine tooling them all by himself. That was back when Wolverine was cool.
