it's because this site sucks and you have to ammend the url in your youtube tag, so in this url's case:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ...you delete everything before the '=' and are left with the gibberish character at the end, in this case: "dQw4w9WgXcQ"

so then your final tag would be (with '*' added for demo purposes):

[*youtube]dQw4w9WgXc[/youtube]
