Great movies, bad rewatchability

Any movies that you found to be great but for one reason or another you don't feel you need to watch them again? List movies and number of times you seen and reason(s) if you like.

The Sixth Sense - 1 viewing - Knowing the plot kills further viewings

The Usual Suspects - 2.5 viewings - Knowing the plot as above. Though this one held better in my second viewing due to Spacey's awesome performance. Couldn't finish the film in my 3rd attempt years and years later

Requiem for a Dream. If you seen it you know it's a good film, just not something you want to see again.

I think I could rewatch Book of Eli over and over again (If I ever watched it to begin with), seems like action I can sink my teeth into.

Batman Begins.

Armageddon.

Evil Dead (2013)

Chasing Amy.

The Mist.

Only reason I refrain from watching it again is because of that over zealous bible thumping woman in it.

I mean, give the actress credit for being so convincing but still can't bring myself to sitting thru her scenes.

It's really well done, but it's more to do with the ending.

She did a great job being so utterly deplorable and that character would definitely make the top ten list of 'Most Punchable Characters in Film'

PLEASE PROTECT ME STONES

Zodiac
Under the Skin
Silence (incredibly bleak and really long, but a masterful story)
Killing of a Sacred Deer
Moonlight (overhyped, with a bad 3rd act)
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
2001: A Space Odyssey
First Man (like Jackie really dry film)
Watchmen (2 viewings and each got worse)
We need to talk about Kevin
Jackie (decent film, but very morose and dry)
The Matrix Revolutions (some good moments, but the Zion mech fight is way overlong)
Dark City (A lot going on, but I don’t remember much of the plot. Will definitely return to it at some point)
Deadpool (I love side characters, but Wades jokes get old.)
The Wolverine (Dry, probably only seen twice)
Ben Hur (Masterful tension between Judah and Mesalla, but it’s really long and overly propagandist at times)
Batman vs. Superman (Dawn of Justice)- probably only seen twice all the way through. Everyone knows why it’s bad and the extended version doesn’t help

Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West.
Good movie but its very long and doesnt have the rewatchability as the Dollars Trilogy.

For me it's a movie that relies heavily on a twist ending to be compelling. Once you know the twist, the movie loses much of its purpose.

"Downer" type movies like Requiem for a Dream and Schindler's List I actually find pretty rewatchable. I've seen them both several times.

Hm.. I greatly disagree. All of the Matrix films are great to watch again from time to time because the story is so rich and thought-provoking.

I was going to call you out on that! That movie belongs no where NEAR this thread! laughing out loud

Same with Moonlight. It sucked. Period.

I agree with the first 3, never seen the other two. The last time I rewatched Passion of the Christ I just felt like I was watching a weird mix of fantasy and torture porn. lol. But it is beautifully filmed and well done like Mel Gibson does well.

I would mention some of the recent Oscar films like Bohemian Rhapsody, Roma, and A Star is Born. They were good but I don't have any desire to ever see them again.
