Well, 'tis the season. The characters have been pooled (sometimes...multiple times), the numbers have been chosen (again, sometimes....multiple times) and we finally have our drafts and opponents:

Osiris
Medusa
Atlas

Omni-Man

Leo
Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze)

Ultimate Reed Richards

- separate characters
- no bfr
- no prep
- 0.5 km starting distance
- battlefield = normal Earth that regenerates [i.e. can't be permanently destroyed]
- 1st post PMd to Phildo by Saturday, 2nd post posted by each participant by Tuesday, last post by next Friday.

I think whomever manages to advance between Leo and Smurph will be the big favorite to win. The other would be hard pressed to deal with the raw power [Black Bolt] or raw versatility/trickery [Ghost Rider/Reed] can bring.

Saint has a very good brick[s..]. Damborg has a VERY interesting combination that he could do a lot with. Bentley has individual powerhouses that are hard to put down, but aren't too complementary to each other. Beatboks has the classic powerset which, if played right, could move him up quite a bit here.

No amalgam, no. I agree with Phildo, the Smurph/Leo match is the one to watch imho. Can't call it between the two, they're both pretty much the top posters, who also have the best characters here.

I obv favour myself to win my match, and the Dambo/Boks match...I am willing to be surprised. Omni Man is being underestimated here, I think, as well as Osiris.
