i'm not sure tbh. i wonder how ss would handle disintegration...the rings have def had an upgrade in the last decade or so though. not entirely sure how mandy would handle a nova blast but i'd think the darkness ring would prevent it. there's also the liar/mento ring. don't think ss would have defense against mind control. if it came down to it i think i'd take mandy here.

yeah i wasn't sure how effectively he could use them. a brain bubble would be impossible to defend for mandy, or an invisible spear in the back. could be your fave quickdraw scenario though i don't really think mandy would try disintegration first off and i doubt ss would use a brain bubble immediately. but you've convinced me to lean toward ss i think. the rings at one time capable of operating on their own though i think so it might be possible that even if ss does kill mandy, the rings might act on their own to kill ss. hmmm, back to not knowing for sure lol
If we go by the highest showings of the rings, such as the Dragonseed Saga, where they are powerful enough to fight off ten Fin Fang Foom dragons at the same time, then Mandarin would win this.
Going by more typical showings, a guy who has both stretchy-powers and Thing-toughness is a terrible fight for Mandarin. A more typical showing for The Mandarin is creating an illusion, then nailing his opponent with a superhuman karate-chop while they don't know what to dodge. Trapping his opponent in ice, then nailing them with a superhuman karate-chop while they can't move. Making the opponent dizzy with a tornado, then nailing them with a superhuman karate-chop while they are staggering about. Etc. So more typical Mandarin is almost completely neutralized by the combination of Mister Fantastic and Thing's durability.
So basically, Dragonseed Saga Mandarin wins, almost all other versions lose.
