the original hellraiser? now that was decent but all others were pretty bad, the book of hellraiser by clive barker was a horror story to rival any stepehen kings novels as is most all of barkers novels

Spaceballs may have been cheap, but it was FUNNY!!!! And there is a BIG difference between a bad horror movie and a bad comedy. Hellraiser: Bloodline was indeed a piece of SH*T!! Have you even seen it?
Spaceballs however was funny. I admit parts were a little dumb, but some stupid comedys are funny.
And I'm talking about Movies I wish they hadn't made! No movies YOU wish they hadn't made. If you like it....fine. Thats your opinion. And you're entitled to it.
I love Spaceballs...........I own it on dvd.........
I have indeed seen Bloodlines...........as a matter of fact I own all 6 Hellraiser movies on dvd........
It is not a great horror movie...........it was made basically for fans......it gives us the back story on the Lament Configuration (the puzzle box)..........take the movie for what it is, not blast it for what it's not....if you're not a fan of the first 3 Hellraiser movies, ofcourse you have no desire to see the fourth which actually has less action as it is basically giving us the backstory of the Hellraiser mythology.......telling us how this gateway to hell called the Lament Configuration and the demons called Cenobites came to be in the first place.
Same thing with Spaceballs........I like it because I take it for what it was, a spoof..........a great spoof of the star wars trilogy.......hell, all of Mel Brooks movies are great.......History of the World part 1 being my favorite...........but alas, it is shallow and cheap......but it was meant to be so it's okay........much like the Airplane movies.......ridiculous but great (although both airplane movies are far superior to Spaceballs)
The Hours is an adaptation of a book so its not for dramatic effect (movie wise):
I think its a great movie, with a great story and amazing performance from all the actors (Streep, Kidman, Moore and Harris).
Sure it has no special efect, no mindless action, stunts that no human could have make.
Its a great film.
