was this movie supposed to be funny? i could have sworn someone said it was a comedy, after i watched this movie i studied physics for two weeks in the hopes of figuring out how to build a time machine so i could go back and slap myself for even considering to go see this movie....Jim carey tries to hard

I agree with Brickwallman, that movie was really good. I didn't see it again but i will be renting it when it comes out, it's a really good film.

Bruce is the "GOD" of the box offices
Bruce Almighty hit the box offices big, eh? And I deffinetely paid my share genioursly. In the first 5 weeks of it being in theaters. I saw it 4 times! I loved it that much. I think Jim, yes, was a little over the top with his character in this film. But, hell, that's Jim Carrey. And no matter what, he'll keep the laughs coming. I give this film. A big 5 stars if you ask me. And I think that it will be a big movie in stores for years to come. That's my opinion...take it or leave it...I'm sure most would agree.
