worst movie EVER!!!! 10 thumbs DOWN wayyyyy down

i just sat throught the worst five hours (or so it seemed) of my life... i watched the dumbest movie ever... anyone heard of it? BASICally it was about some renagade army rangers... or so i think... i couldn't really tell with all of the PLOT CHANGES... omg i think they tried to combine twenty different war movies into one... all with a different plot and all with a different budget... some scenes were soo poorly shot i swear i saw a microphone hanging in front of the camera... there was no "good guys" or "bad guys" well i guess the girl could be considered a "good guy"... jon travolta played the worst role i've ever seen... i like him as an actor... but after seeing this... my mind is changing... he played a know-it-all ex-army ranger/ ex-interegator (too many "ex" things) plus he plays this @$$hole of a charactor... thinking with his d!ck, and acts like he didn't give a sh!t about anything that has to do with the case... but at the same time, knowing what is going on... the main thing i hated about this movie was all the hype that my friends gave about it... "its such a good movie" "you hafta watch it... its incredible" this movie is seriously making me think about gettin new friends due to the simple fact that they LIED!!! or maybe they were drunk when they watched it.... or maybe they didn't really watch it... or maybe they are just that ignorant as to think it was a good movie... oh well... ppl make mistakes... but damn... this was a bad movie

oh and for those people that didn't get my subliminal message.... the movie was Basic... if you don't believe that movie is dumb... watch it for yourself... but be sure to take a few asprin before hand... cause its gonna be a long movie... i think i might play it again tonite... help with my insomnia

it wasnt bad, but you are right, it does have a few to many plot twists. but ive seen much much worse.

its worth seeing for sure, the only problem is that its got too many plost twists. but its an entertaining movie.

yeah it was a pretty bad movie. not as bad as the summer movies but it was bad. Why do people keep hiring samuel jackson? this man tries to hard he's not worse than jim carrey but he reaches for talent that isnt there.

Every time i go to the video store i skip this movie, it never got my attention and now woth all ur comments ill rented even less, thanks guys! and i dont think its the worst ever, there are a few top contendersin recent years for the "Worst Movie Ever" title such as "They", Jeepers Creepers 2, Glitter, Giggli anything with David Spade and Tom Green in it among others!

hey, sam jackson's one of my fav actors out there. he might have a more restricted field of acting potential (bad-ass mostly) but he's a good actor
