ok venom would win. If you note back he over cames fire pain both against gost rider and letahal protecter 6 (i think thats right) and plus venom is a fricken beast. Wut hes can take all hits he was shot to hell stabed and ramed threw by wolverine and punisher (seperate times) so wut the hell is symbiotic weapons gonna do make him hurt for a second piss him off get him stronger make him wail on carnage venom would win. Look, folks, I've already established that all Venom needs is a bananna.
Now, I simply wuv Carnage, but he isn't the sort to think creatively. He has the advantage in terms of enthusiasm, but a sunny disposition is simply not sufficient.

Oh, but I've changed my mind, mom.
Preceding from the information in "Psycho-analysing My Symbiote," we see that Venom's bananna would be no advantage if we armed Carnage with...chocolate. Big C would simply toss the chocolate over V's head, yelling "Fetch, Dad!," and when Venom turned his back... shrapnel city.
Surely Carnage has wits enough to implement this plan!
And actually, Nataku is correct- Cletus is quite clever. We tend to underestimate him because he is ignorant and under-educated and rejects thought in favor of action when-ever possible.
To make Carnage think, you basically have to lock him up- then he just starts cooking up the escape plans right and left, and they sure are impressive!
But when he's out, he just goes all ADHD.
Still, chocolate would overcome that shortfall.

Oh, but his psyche is very strong itself. Strong in the sense that it is unchanging, unbending. No therapy will alleviate narcissism; no enlightenment will come to the narcissist. He will be disappointed again and again in life but will never look inward.
But I understand what you're saying. His psyche makes him an unfit participant in the world, an eternal loser. Just don't make the mistake of thinking there's any fragility in his psyche itself. Its solid as adamantium, it will never break. He's not so much crazy as perfectly sane but fanatically religious in a religion where he is God... He'll never "snap." He'll just set out again and again to snap the world in half. And fail, again and again. Kind of a classic tragic figure.
In all honesty, I do have to profess Venom the winner. (Raises his boxing glove.)
Bad S- would you like to do the honors? Slip into a ring-girl bikini and buckle on Eddie's championship belt?
Actually, on second thought I'm wrong... Kasady did snap once, when he painted himself "Red." That was cute! Everybody falls down sometimes. What's inspiring is he always gets back up.
Be like Kasady, everybody. Don't let that mean world tell you your place. Insist on deciding your own, and keep working to take it.

I'm not the bikini-ring-bimbo type, but I could make an exception for Brock, Red (Carnage sympathizer--and I wouldn't have it any other way--I love ya just the way you are...).
And I read the first half of your story and am loving it...just so you know. When I get a little more time--tonight, I hope, I'll finish and review.
