Yes, I know! Some people our just sick that way. Anyway, how can airangel429 say that there were no signs of Harry/Ginny in book five!!! It was everywhere!!! I mean with the library sence, Ginny is the only one who can clam Harry down and get him out of that cocky-I'm-pissed-at-everyone else-that isn't-me-mood! Then she gives him the easter egg, which has snitches on it! Also with the Quidditch thing, Seekers tend to go out with Seekers right? Cho/Cedric, Harry/Cho, Cho/Mike. and so. . . Harry/Ginny! Then there is the part in " Snape's Worst Memory" when James starts to doddle L.E. with snitches around it, Lily MUST have been the Gryffindor Seeker, like Ginny was for a short period of time. Also, Ginny told Harry that she wants to be a Chaser rather then a Seeker. A Chaser just like James had been and Harry is a Seeker just like his mother had been, just switch them around and. . . well there you go! Oh, there are so many similarities!
Finally, there is the scene in the Department of Mysteries were the group split up into two groups of three. And if you noticed the teams were: Harry, Hermione, Neville and Ginny, Ron, and Luna. Now Harry and Ginny which seem to be the strongest were also the leaders of the groups and the least hurt. Then there was Ron and Hermione the ones that were hurt the worst! Ron with his brain damage and Hermione with her near fatual spell attack, which, if had been said aloud, would have killed her! Finally, we have Luna and Nevllie the two that you would expect to be the ones that would be hurt the worst with only minor pains! Luna had blacked out, but other then that was okay, and Neville only got a bloody nose! Go Neville!!! She any conection.
Also, just thought I'd add this. In the end of SoC Dumbledore tells Harry that there is a bond between Harry and Ginny now. Like a bond that there is between Harry and Wormtail. Oh, there are just soooo many clues to Harry/Ginny in these books! My favorite though, being the scene in SS were Ginny wished Harry good luck and chased after the train! Why you ask? Because like JK said it was at King's Cross were her father asked her mother to marry him! So, we first meet Ginny and notice her at King's Cross Station where Harry notices her too! Thats all!

Oh, and about Ron getting made over that, I don't think so!!! Actually, Ron is FOR Harry/Ginny! Because after Ginny says that she is going out with Dean Thomas Ron says:
" Well, I always thought he was a bit of an idiot," he said, prodding his queen forward toward Harry's quivering castle." Good for you. Just choose someone- better - next time."
He cast Harry an oddly furtive look as he said it."

Also that whole thing on the BIG debate idea, is that a poster on the Harry/Ginny Discussion board I belong to thought that we get together all the Harry/? shippers ( two debaters for each ship) and just have a huge debate about why each ship is meant to be and why this ship is better then another. We think that we should have the thread up on the Discussion board on the Offical Harry Potter website so we don't surge any well this was on this ships board on not on this ships board, you know? So, if you want to be a debater just send me or ladyarise a PM and in that PM tells us which ship you will be supporting and your name ( discussion board name). We will get back to you telling you in a PM if you will be a debater and what the date will be for the big debate.
If you are NOT chosen as a debater you can still read the debate, you just can't post anything! The rules are as followed:

Ok, NOW you have made alot of sense to me! I do remember all of that and I do remember how Ron had been about other people with Ginny and the end of book 5. I did forget about the snitch. But I dunno....I think maybe Harry will confide in Luna.....and Ginny was the one who told Luna......so maybe that is a huge possibility. I always wanted them to get together before...but then that whole Cho thing came in and then Ginny was dating others...so it kinda veered away from those two. But I do see the similarities. I do see Ron and Hermoine as a definite and mabye Neville and Luna.....who knows though.
But I can see where Harry and Ginny would get together....I am sure she is still deeply touched that he saved her way back whenever.
I think Luna will have a big part in the next book though.

i dont think harry and luna could get together. sorry, but i dont. i know about all that happened at the end of book 5, but i think they will be more like friends, unless one of them changes dramatically in the next 2 books. they have connections, yes, but theyre really really different people. luna WILL have a big part though. rowling didnt put her in for nothing.
harry and ginny are a chance... i guess... but ginny doesnt fancy harry anymore, hermione said that.
i am confused about hermione and ron... if you'll remember, ron looked confused when hermione kissed him before his 1st quidditch game, but theyre always fighting, and because theyre friends it might be weird...

Yes, I think Harry and Luna will just be friends too! Oh, and James was a Chaser J.K. even said it in an interview! ^-^ She said that they made that mistake in the movie. Oh, and if you are confused on *why* James was showing off with a Snitch, well Lily tends to be the Gryffindor Seeker the clues seem to be all there. I was like," No way! Lily was Seeker! I should have known. . ." I mean everyone always says that Lily's last name is Evans (go along with that too!) and he was scribbling L.E., Lily Evans. Also what a way to get her attention, by trying to show off as a natural with the one ball she to catch! Yeah know? And he liked Lily, she just didn't start liking him until Seventh Year when he started to mature and became Head Boy!

By the way frootlooplucy, Hermione says in the book," Ginny'd given up on you, Harry." Or something VERY close to that! And given up and over are two very different things!!! Given up means that you still love them inside, but you aren't going to wait for them to get up and smell the roses! While over is when you are completely over someone and don't really care for them in a lover type way, and don't really care if they notice you or not. Very different. . .
That whole thing with Ron and Hermione. . .well. They were meant to be together from the start. The bickers are just because they are different, but not too different (like Hermione and Draco!). They are both really stubborn, well I think anyways, so they fight a lot about their views. They are kinda like Arthur and Molly Weasley. Arthur is more laxed about rules and punishment, while Molly is right on top of it. And it is a fact that most men tend to marry a figure that resembles their mother in personality! ^-^ See a resemblence?

Oh, and another thing about Ron/Hermione is that Ron got quite jealous of Victor and was still a little in OotP! ^^ The Yule Ball though, was still the best time for Ron and Hermione. Also, Hermione got jealous a little too at Fleur when she gave Ron a kiss on the cheek! Lol.
Another reason why the Yule Ball sence is sooo important is because JK said in an interview that they all went to the ball with the wrong people and that the people that they went to the ball with weren't going to get together. Hermione went with Victor, making Hermione/Victor not going to happen! Neville went with Ginny, getting rid of that ship! Cho went with Cedric, maybe this Mike guy is the one for her? Ron and Harry went with Pavarti and her twin, we KNOW these two aren't happening!!!
Frootloopylucy brought up the part about Hermione giving Ron a kiss on the cheek and him being confused about it. Well, one can easily mistaken confusement with amazment! Lol.
Then there is the little tiny thing. The one small problem that helps Ron/Hermione out, Luna has a crush on Ron! Think about it! She wore that lion that roared on her head JUST for Ron! By then Harry had been banned from the team FOR LIFE (yeah right, not with Dumbledore back)! Also some other small clues. . . So this crush will make Hermione jealous (sorta like how Ron got jealous over Victor) so she in the end, ends up admitting that she likes Ron.
Also, the thing about the groups in OotP. Don't forget about that! Oh, and did you know that the Otter is related to the Weasle? Why did I bring this up you say? Well, if you remember Hermione's patronus was an Otter and Ron's last name is Weasley and his house is named the Burrow like the homes of Weasle's!!!
There are a few other clues through out the books, just like Harry/Ginny! Oh, and I couldn't have gave all these clues if it hadn't been for some of the people on the Harry/Ginny Discussion board that I belong too! You guys know what clues you own! That's it for H/R!!!

i was tired when i wrote that, so here comes the right text "so what, if Hermione had kiss'd Harry in 4th book, she kiss'd Ron too in 6th book just before some Quidditch match or an exam.
First of all, awesome posts LilyGinnyBlack but I just want to stress that AirAngel was still saying that there was a possiblity of Harry/Ginny in book 5 in her first post, she just noticed a connection between Harry and Luna.
I think Luna will play more of a role in later books, but just as LilyGinnyBlack said, as a friend type character. They both have seen death and allowed it to sink in to them, which is why they can see the thestrals. But you must also remember one thing, Neville can see the threstrals too, right? That is one connection Neville and Luna can make. However, we shall have to see how they will interact in later books, but I definitly see possibility.
As for Lily being a seeker, LilyGinnyBlack, it was never confirmed that she was but a likely possibility. But I see your point in how the snitchs connected Lily to James and then Harry to Ginny.
Yeah, I did see alot of connections between Harry and Luna...BUT after reading all of this I really do see the whole Ginny/Harry thing. and Ron and Hermy is a definite!!
BUT I wonder if Luna will become closer to Harry to become closer to Ron......??? I do remember in the beginning of the book when she was wanting to help Ron out by carrying stuff for him when they were getting off the train. So I thought that she liked him. But then the connection between her and Harry at the end of book 5 was what had thrown me off. It wasn't from her character changing..it was from Harry's character changing to a more acceptance of her, rather than Loony Luna......ya know. But there are sooo many things that you can forget from the earlier books....with the whole Harry/Ginny thing..... And the Weasley's love Harry anyways, they kind of take him in as a son...IN A WAY.... so it would seem right for him and Ginny. I could just see Mrs. Weasley crying about it...in a happy way! =)
