I don't think that Hermione and Krum will last. I mean, think about it. Krum gets jealous at Harry. Hermione obviously talks about Harry enough to make Krum jealous.
I agree with Orli and Lydia, I mean if Herm really does have to be in a relationship then who better then the guy who recognised her as a diamond in the rough, who appreciated her when he had tons of girls after him and the guy with whom she showed everybod not to suume they know all there is to know about her? Plus Krum was only really worried about Harr because of all that Rita Skeeter gossip that spread and just wanted to make sure he knew the status of her friendship with Harry - and notice that he went to Harry to ask first rather then believe it and have a go at Hermoine which I think shows that he really cares about her. Plus in the tournament she was the one used as bait for the underwater challenge and all the people used were the most important things to the champions, if Hermoine wasn't important to Krum they would have someone else he knew like how they used Fleur's little sister.
Maybe she was the most important at the time. That doesnt mean their relationship is going to last. I understand about the diamond in the rough thing (which was a very sweet way of putting it btw) but I really don't see her and Krum together. Plus you have to think about the fight between Ron and Hermione after the ball when the were fighting, you could tell how jealous Ron was that she had went with someone besides him.

for now h/hr dont exist but hermione care for harry more than for ron she could have feeling for him for all that we now.
harry dont see her like that,true,but she's the only one that saw him like harry and no someone else!!!! ron saw him like celebrity,malfoy saw him like good ally for the dark side,dd-prophecy...,sirius also saw him like his best friend son.only hermione came from muggle world and know him by what realy he is,plain harry.
yes he care for her now only as a friend but maybe later on he'll see what lies under his nose.

I do see the way Ron behaved but you see, everybody keeps bringing that up and even if he does have feelings for her it doesn't mean she reciprocates them. Also, it could just be a little crush that feels overwhelming for a while and then dissipates.
The diamond in thr rough thing means that beneath the unpolished surface there is a gem inside - true quality which hasn't reached it's potential or visibility yet.
Wow you have a great vocabulary.... anyway I get what your saying, but I just really don't like Krum. Why do we reffer to him as Krum anyway? He has a first name I do believe. I was also wondering do we know what happend with Hermione and Vicky over the summer between fourth and fifth year? Did she go see him in Bulgaria or anything?

None of the two. I think hermy will end up with Draco M. There is fire btw characters like that.. Worst anemies like eachother, cause they are nothing without the other. And Her/Drac perfectly goes together. She is gentle, smart, beautifil... He is smart, rude sometines, brave and agressive.. deadly combination as I say, beauty and the beast story... I poor the enemy who would stand against those two
Yeah Iuse both 'Viktor' and 'Krum' interchangeably - JKR did a chat session the other day and she was asked that very same question to which she replied something like wouldn't we all like to know! But we'll probably find out when he makes his next appearance.
