you mean like "phoenixstorm"? the phoenix force did to storm what it did to jean, in that it enhanced her natural powers (weather manipulation) to nigh-infinite levels. that was an AU, or a What if..?, though. considering there seems to have been a redefinition of what the phoenix force actually is recently, it's unlikely anything akin to "phoenixstorm" is even possible anymore.
edit: excuse me. i mean, "stormphoenix," not "phoenixstorm"

basically, in a what if..?, storm was already possessed by the phoenix force. she became stormphoenix, but it turned out that stormphoenix was just a replica body, while the real storm was in a healing coccoon. storm dies in the end.
and since it's implied that the phoenix force is tied to certain persons in ways more than just being an entity picking bodies, it's not like it'll ever happen again.
I think Cuckoos would be awesome, but Storm could kick serious butt. Rogue couldn't contain the phoenix force. she could barely control her own damn powers.
yea, it could possess storm like it did emma, though she'd be a "shell" hardly even a host, since she's not psi, and i don't think rogue would be a good choice lol, ur right she can hardly handle what she's got. It would be incredibly interesting to see cable handle the force. I really hope Rachel is handled good, I mean her mom is Phoenix but I don't want it to be exactly like her story, something fresh and different. Apparently, she's unique (Uncanny) she has no alternate selves, except the man, but that's not her. Oh yes, I cannot wait 'till the Endsong sequel comes, i love the Cuckoos!
i know what u mean avatar when i found out there was a sequal i was speechless for ages, i couldnt believe it, although i hope they handle it as well as the first on, i mean they really captured everything tht the phoenix nd jean feel, and the end where the phoenix and jean realise they r loved is amazing, however unless jean is back and only the cuckoos are in control of the phoenix i would not waste my time on, they only way the phoenix force is good is if it is related to jean, sorry guys but i mean, storm is an amazing character in herself, why shud she need the pf? jean needed it becouse she was gonna die, but storms powers are already that good. she is in control and knows what she is doing and that makes her strong and independant which i like and i wouldnt wanna change!
Technically speaking, while Storm is not a telepath she does posses psionic ability. Also the Phoenix Force has bond to non-psi before.
There really no reason why Storm couldn't host the Phoenix Force. The StormPhoenix or PhoenixStorm showed us that Storm is genetically compatible to host the Phoenix Force.
