great choice.both are great movies.great to see another roger moore fan on here.I previously said my favorite connery Bond movie was thunderball and roger moore bond film was The spy who loved me,I saw you only live twice for the first time in ages last night and that is a very close second after thunderball as my favorite connery bond movie.
How come you people dont like 'The Man With the Golden Gun'?! It is easily the best Bond film. It has everything that a Bond film should have - action, love, a great Bond, and a superb sense of humour. It also has the best villan in the series - Francisco Scaramanga. The only bad thing about imo is the anticlimactic death of Mr Scaramanga. But when you look at the movie as a whole this flaw really doesnt make much difference.
well just because they didnt list it as one of their favorites doesnt mean they dont like it.Yeah its one of my favorites as well but I agree with you, other than Goldeneye,I cant believe people would pick the Bond movies that feature the horrible acting of Brosnan over that one. Except for Goldeneye maybe because the script for THAT one was good enough to overcome the horrible performance of Brosnan to be good.

It's the first one I saw. I didn't know that it would change me forever. Others are excellent. But like your first kiss, it may be laughable, but it's packed with so much meaning that there is an emotion burned into the memory.
That is what The Spy Who Loved Me is for me.
His car turns into a mini-sub. I was 10 years old. Need I say more?
