Sunspot gets better after a few rounds, but even then stick with weaker opponents in some areas. He absorbs sunlight to increase strength and energy. But if I remember correctly fighting in an indoor location he can't absorb any sunlight. Also when he uses on of those stats after he absorbs the energy, it gets lower again.
