Surprisingly enough I found this movie to be very good. I hadn't heard many good things about it but that still hadn't made me change my mind on whether or not I wanted to see it. I'm glad I decided to watch it, it was a reasonably good movie. It was predictable at times, as most movies tend to be, but other then that it was really good.
I give it a 7 out of 10.

I agree, tahts why i only like the good horror films. Their are however some unique ones of late, 28 days later, house of 1000 corpses, they were both completely new for this day and age.
I'm aware that you are ignorant in the genre of horror so i dont expect you to really apreciate how much depth and brilliance can go into making a truley great horror film, sadly these horror movies are rare.

uh, no i dont. I have the most diverse taste of anyone i know. Who else owns TCM, monsters inc, cannibal holocast, neverending story, amelie and the matrix in the same collection? No one i know.
Also, signs is a pretty creepy movie, i can understand how that one freaked you out.

I know a lot of people with a diverse movie collection like that, just nobody on the forums because most of them are all teenagers. Although I am a teenager so I just made a bad reference to myself

i know, i am also an all around movie expert, I dont just watch horror movies. It's just that horror is my favorite genre and my main subject of extreme expertise, so people assume thats all i watch, when its far from the truth.

I agrre with BF, theres already been too many disaster movies and The Core wasnt very good either, i liked it somewhat but it wasnt as good as i expect it to be also i have a very diverse taste and found to Signs to be creepy too but House of a 1000 Corpses i thought it was useless, i was bored during the whole movie and yes i did understood the movie i just thought it was a poor attempt at imitating TCM!

i thought Signs was not very creepy.... mostly movies like that do creep me out.... but it didn't me..... o well.... anyways i have not seen the core.... my WG teacher wants to watch it.... I was just like more time to sleep..... now really... is it a good movie to watch if you bored out of your mind???

Well I personally found it to be one of those average movies that you just come home and watch on a Sunday afternoon. Surprisingly it was better then I expected.

I enjoyed the Core. Guess it was my mood. Since I do not watch disaster flicks then I could deal with it. But I though the plot and science was good enough. Some of it was baloney, but it was fantasy.
As for horror, I have given up on it for the time being... Blade 2 was slightly a horror movie. The plot did not scare me some of the images were scary and brutal. Did not want to see it again.
Last really good thriller I saw was Identity and the Cell was decent. I enjoyed the movie Seven a lot.
Last one...Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness was GREAT!
I think people have seen every theme, that's why the SCARY Movies do well. It is time for the Horror genre to re-invent itself.

core was cool. I liked when they hit space in the middle of the planet. They should have found something alive down there. The next reality horror flick should be when the shit hits the fan the only solution is to destroy.
