I think people should respect people at their work regardless what job they do. Any service worker that deals with the public on a daily basis deserves respect.
The last thing you want is a pissed off fast food worker who's serving you food, to spit on your meal or drop it on the floor.
Its minimum wage and they won't be afraid to lose their position.
