i know the title to the sixth book Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and the third movie comes out in video nov. 23rd.

oh and my friend said this to me about how neither can live while the other does blah blah blah...........so if harry beats voldemort then he won't die cause i know someppl think that he'll die while killing you-know-who but one fo them has to live you know?

Yes, that is the prophesy "ONE MUST DIE AT THE HAND OF THE OTHER"

JK couldn't have made it any clearer that ONE WILL LIVE AND ONE WILL DIE!! Yet I've lost count of the number of retards who come out with bullshit like: "If Voldermort dies then Harry will die because they are connected". If this was the case then the prophesy would be along the lines of "both must die together".

I think Sirius's death has oushed Harry a little closer to wanting to murder Voldemort, I think one more death of someone he cares about will be enough to fill him with a murderous rage.

I think there is every point in protecting Harry from other other than Voldermort, I mean who is to say the prophesy is 100% correct to the last detail, whatever happened to shaping our own destiny?

Murdering Voldemort is surely no problem. Harry has murdered Quirrel who deserved it less.

That was more like manslaughter, Harry didn't mean to kill Quirrel he was just trying to defend himself. Murder in cold blood is different.

^ Yeah, I agree. I don't think that Harry even knows what he's thinking. At the end of the 5th book he was empty minded. I don't think he's thinking of murdering Voldemort yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does soon after the 6th book starts.

wow, merging threads always throws me off! messed

but I do find Tidus' theory very interesting...both harry and voldy being invincible until one kills the other....

and harry kill Quirrel was quite different, he didn't even know what he was doing, except for saving his own skin!

oh for gods sake. ok it says "either must die at the hands of the other" but that doesn't mean that only one will die. it just means that they can only be killed by eachother. So in theory it's possible for them to kill eachother at the same time....or, bearin in mind they can each commit suicide (not that they'd want to!!!!!) it is also possible that harry will sacrifice himself to kill voldemort, thus both of them dying. Considering i'm the one that started this theory, i think it's unfair that you call me a "retard" when the only "retard" here is the one that refuses to let anyone have their own opinions and ideas. your just a control freak, and as far as every single on of us knows, its possible for any theory in this message board to be correct, so lay off.

Very well put I think. I mean one of them has to survive. But the question on course is who? Voldemort or Harry? Oh and I had the idea that if the killing curse is built on hate what about changing it or creating a new spell that will destroy all evil it comes by with the power of love. Hmm tell me what ya think will ya?

thanx babe! big grin

but in conjuction to what Lily Evans said...perhaps this whole "love" thing will be bigger then we think. Cuz we also learned in book 5 that in order to use an unforgivable curse you have to really want to cause pain, or to kill somebody...and be happy about it! so that also plays into the whole hate thing...just a thought...

hey i'm back (not really)
and that's if you remember me.
i kinda agree with zombieman but not with the way he , she said it and i always agree with ibtonks everything is possible. in this case i think if harry dies then nothing esle can kill voldemort or nothing else or nobody else would kill voldemort until harry is alive. and i can't think of anything else for now so bye
