i see what you're saying, but the prophecy says more than just that. it also tells us that harry is the only one who can kill voldemort which would make it a perfect reason for introducing the prophecy. there's more hidden in the prophecy, lots of it will come up again, i'm sure.
but i agree with you about voldemort dying, mostly. i think he's gonna be defeated and most of the time i believe harry will survive. (other times i'm not too sure). i just can't help but think that it's too easy and there has to be something unexpected about the ending of the book....after all, it is jk.
I'm totally w/ ya! I agree that the prophecy has more to say...but its main focus is the final battle b/w voldy and harry...and I also agree that there has to be something we're not ending about the ending. We all know JK will pull a fast one on us!

thats an interesting thought, but i kinda doubt it. The two mirrors had two very different purposes. The mirror of erised showed you the deepest desires of your soul, and the mirror from Sirius was simply for communication. Unless Sirius' mirror can somehow be bewitched to act like the mirror of erised...and Harry's deepest desire is to see Sirius again! (That was a bit of a stretch )
well we only know one function from each mirror, i thought maybe they where all chunks of a bigger mirror or something like that or they shared something. i don't know how to say it but i think somehow siruis's mirror is erised in half if you both wish at the same time or something like that

Yea, but it would be a heart breaker. Personally I don't think he'll die. He will lose people who are close to him tho. His survival with come with great sacrifice, as several people have said before.

I am not sure. One of my best friends wants to send a serial killer on J.K.Rowling if she doesn't make Harry die (she's just kidding, of course, but she wants Harry 2 die all the same.) and my bro thinks that Harry and Neville are in the die/ survive position, not Harry and Voldemort (I've tried 2 tell him and make him understand that it's Harry v. Voldemort, but he's just stupid.). And I want J.K. to hurry up w/ the books. I mean, they have been written and printed already 4 cryin' out loud!!! All she has 2 do is get her group of brainless musclemen to put the stacks of books on the bookstore shelves and the community will do the rest. But that's just me.

hm, new rumor where did you hear that the books already finished and written? i think jk would post that on her website if it was true, but i always get excited when i hear rumors like that.
