I dunno how the whole sound track to Romeo and Juliet is... but there are a couple kick ass songs off it that I've heard that I really like.

Whatever- Butthole surfers

and the Radiohead song on it.

Underworld ST is very good. Pulp Fiction ST is beyond the limits of cool, but my favorite would have to be Natural Born Killers. It's diverse to the point of insane:

1. Waiting For The Miracle - Leonard Cohen
2. Shitlist - L7
3. Moon Over Greene County - Dan Zanes
4. Rock N Roll ****** - Patti Smith
5. Sweet Jane - Cowboy Junkies
6. You Belong To Me - Bob Dylan
7. The Trembler - Duane Eddy
8. Burn - Nine Inch Nails
9. Route 666 - Brian Berdan
10. Totally Hot - Remmy Ongala And Orchestre Super Matimila
11. Back In My Baby's Arms - Patsy Cline
12. Taboo - Peter Gabriel And Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
13. Sex Is Violent - Jane's Addiction/Diamanda Galas
14. History Repeats Itself - A.O.S.
15. Something I Can Never Have - Nine Inch Nails
16. I Will Take You Home - Russel Means
17. Drums A Go-Go - Hollywood Persuaders
18. Hungry Ants - Barry Adamson
19. The Day The Niggaz Took Over - Dr. Dre
20. Born Bad - Juliette Lewis

Bob Dylan, Nine Inch Nails and Dr. Dre on the same album. Genius.

The Shins had two songs on it.

The Iron and Wine cover of The Postal Service's "Such Great Heights" is quite possibly the best track of the year.

The Punisher and Daredevil soundtracks were great. Loved the Daredevil soundtrack, but hate the movie!

Ghost Dog Soundtrack

It's practically a Wu Tang album. "Raise Your Swords" is the highlight of the soundtrack and was used really well in the movie.

Ghost Dog is one of my favorite films.

Wouldn't call it genius but it was pulled off well, I agree.

Dre is no stranger to NIN, he worked on The Fragile.

No, it was actually bad from the first listen.

The original Batman film (Burton) had a great Prince soundtrack album- also has the amazing Danny Elfman theme.

Danny Elfman is actually really epic. I think he got mentioned in my other thread, not too sure.

Harry Gregson-Williams does some great soundtrack work.

The Sweet Hereafter score is another favourite of mine, amazing haunting music from Mychael Danna. Different Town is excellent.

The greatest one would have to be Breakfast Club. But I also like:

Spider-man
Daredevil
Punisher

Since then, the comicbook movie soundtracks haven't been as good, but those are my favs.
