A splendid example the of the differences between Jedi and Sith... the Sith would see no reason not to use the Force for EVERYTHING. And now they are all dead. Go figure, huh?
It really is vexing. There are a few broken and battered rooms around, some corridors which lead into nothing but nice, and no apparent way on at all!

Gundark studied the floor. There were no clear bootprints imbedded, but the dust and crumbling bits of stone lying about had recently been disturbed. "They came through here somehow," she mumbled, moving once more into the corridor in front of her that was ringed with ice. "Lance, look at this," she said, taking a palm sized light from her belt and pointing it directly at the ice wall. "It looks like there's something behind the ice. It looks like the ice is reflecting against itself. Do you see it ?"

Wait! One switch that doesn't seem to connect to anything obvious, and still powered! It fdoesn;t take much effort to pull...
...and a secret passage into darkness opens between the two stairways on the lower level.

No. There is absolutely nothing there at all. Except...
OW!
There is something in the Force SO powerful back there that it makes your head hurt to scan it!
But... you sense absolutely NO danger from it.
Though in a more general sense you ALL sense the potential danger in this place, from the Dark Jedi, of course.

Gundark felt the power radiating from the unknown source within as Lance jerked his head back. She locked eyes with him. "I've never felt anything quite like this. I don't sense danger, but we must be cautious." Motioning for Lance to follow, she stepped into the passage, once again using her handlight to attempt to penetrate the blackness in front of them.

I am going to assume that you are all going in..
The passageway leads into a narrow area, with bad vibes radiating all around.
All of you, for one reason or another, suddenly feel nervous. Ahead of you, the corridor ends oddly- a wall with a black hemisphere mounted into it, taller than you, the hollow side facing you.
Suddenly, EACH of you notices that he or she is now alone. One moment you were with your companions, the next you are totally isolated. All four of you still think you are in the same room, however.

Yerssot: There is a momentary shimmering from the hemisphere in front of you, and a figure seems to coalesce from nowhere. He wears black robes, and carries a sabre at his belt. Slowly, almost in slow motion, he draws back his good to reveal a face identical to yours, and draws and turns on his (red) sabre, and advances...
(BTW, no need to go into a seperate thread for this)

Gundark: The hemisphere shimmers for a moment, but nothing happens. For a moment, you feel very alone, with a feeling of dread for the near future. Then you hear footsteps appraoching you from behind. You turn and see...

Lance: The hemipshere starts to shimmer. And then it shimmers some more. And more. And more. And then you start to hear a noise... a faint noise, but it is growing louder... it is laughter! Laughter from somewhere nearby, mocking you about something. And then, suddenly, it cuts out, leaving you non-plussed, standing facing the hemispshere, which seems to do nothing more.

Phinney: The hemisphere gives one pulse, and suddenly you are thrown into total darkness. You cannot hear or see anything, your force sense detects nothing. You are totally and utterly alone...

Lance, you blink, and then suddenly someone is standing in front of you. One moment he was not there and now he is.
You have never seen him before. he is a well-built, violent looking man. He was two sabres, one in his hand and one slung in his belt. He also has more guns atrapped to his body than you can easily count. And he looks at you with a mixture of hatred, contempt, and anticipation...
Lance, you now leave this thread enter a seperate ligthsabre thread that I am about to create for you. When you are done- assuming you live- you will return to this thread. See you soon!
