well, I just finished my 5th time of watching the film Constantine. Although it would be silly to reenact the film I was thinking of a play along those lines. Staring 5 factions
being:
- humans (great you can see or can't see supernaturals)
- halfbreed good
- halfbreed evil
- neutrals
so basically you get to be a human which can or can't see the supernaturals, you can be a pure good supernatural creature trying to save souls or an evil creature trying to draw them into hell. Neutrals get to judge if the balance is kept and can provide ground on which meetings can be held
basically any ritual magic goes, anything you can think up from your demonology books, the good old wicca (or other 'pagan' religion) books, etc can be used. But keep it believable, if you start shooting lightning out of any body opening or fingertips you'll ruin the play for everyone
another thing would be, I'd like to get 1 person to represent a sort of fixed feature for their faction, so one for the humans (think a strong psychic), one for good (an archangel) and one for demons (something along the lines of Balthazar from the film Constantine). then of course one for neutrals (such as Papa Midnite).
Neutrals will have the biggest responsibility, as most of the play will be on their ground.
If anyone is willing to join in, please respond to this. I'd like any feedback I can get as this is still an idea in Beta version. And of course I'd like to get a green card to start with this as soon as possible

much obliged, I'd btw be playing the anchor figure for the halfbreed evil. IF this gets approved. Before starting this however I'd like to get at least 10 people in. So this isn't just a few people constantly talking in loops. I'd also think about storytelling (my true life passion sshh don't tell) in this, asto make it a bit more interesting

if why I'm considering storytelling. And I would like one descriptive player per faction to help me doing so. Planning on doing the the 'good ole way'
as in, adding each 'storyteller' to an MSN list, thinking out the plays with them before actually launching it. maybe putting a time frame into it for flavour so people get to play with a sort of pressure on them, to give the hunted feeling Constantine has at times
so please if you are interested in filling one of the roles, I'd like to know as soon as possible. and of course I'd appreciate any support this suggestion gets (self evident I think) ... btw, stupid deprivation of sleep has made me miscount, there are 4 factions

Halo: Elites vs. Brutes
Basically you're an Elite in the war with Earth but the Brutes are beginning to kill off the Elites so now the Elites are fighting back.
You can be:
An Elite,
A Grunt or
A Hunter (Only 1 person can be 1)
Or be on the Brutes side as a:
A Brute,
A Jackal or
A Drone
You will be a squad leader and have 10 more of your species as your squad expect for Hunters, 1 more for them since they travel in pairs.
And no names. For example say you're an Elite, you'll have
Elite 0 (Squad Captain)
Elite 1-10

so I already have 6 people, HUGE thank you to them by the way for being willing to join.
and I have representatives for the house of the demons and the house of the angels. So now I still need neutral and humans. Think about it, as representative you have quite a bit of power, but you also have HUGE responsibility, after all if your followers break the balance to much its going to be you that will be hunted by the humans and most likely by neutrals as well

I hope it isn't the power which attracts you in the supernaturals, humans have quite a bit more power. As Constantine says (and the bible with him to be honest) 'No direct interaction'
so you can't just torture humans into doing what they want, or give them what you want. Your average human you can only give a slight nudge, such as make promises and the likes. Now neutrals have quite a bit of arcane power but they can't use it, they are trusted and respected by everyone though. And humans, average humans have no power, but then there are your awakened humans who have endless possibilities (as god intended them to have) although nothing is as simple, its all faith

I was thinking about starting an rpg like a brat camp or something. This is a ranch called "Red Stone Ranch". It offers second chances to those who do not wish to go to jail. It's a teen camp thing where kids have been sent because of drugs, murder, stealing, etc. They each have a horse and must prove to the ranchers that they can handle themselves. There will be 6 ranchers that need to be filled in ((plus you can boss kids around if you're a rancher )) There are bunks in 4 cabins. 2 boy cabins, 2 girl cabins ((more will be added if they fill up)). In each cabin there are 2 bunk beds, 2 dressers, 2 closets, and a window. There are stables, pastures, a lake, forest trails, and just about everything that surrounds the ranch. There are also two jails, one boy jail and a girl jail, for those who become too obnoxious to handle. And that about sums things up for my idea.
