SPIKES GAME-Final Sun-General Thread
Name: Your characters name, try not to use any normal names, they’re not very common in these sort of games…except for Cid.
Appearance: What your character looks like, again use fantasy clothing not every day style.
Job: Your characters job, pick from:
Solider - Gain +25 Attack power
Black Mage - Gain +20 Magic Power
White Mage - Gain +25 Magic Defence, +5% Health.
Thief - Gain ‘Steal’ command, steal money/items from the opponent. Gain +2 Evasion
Gunner - Use a gun instead of a sword (Long-range attacks)
NOTE: After learning a skill you can change jobs and learn a skill from another job to combine jobs.
Protector: Your characters guardian, in Final Fantasy these are the summons, in Golden Sun they are Djinns. However, here you may only have one guardian, they cannot change, and no two people can have the same one. Due to this I am going to allow you to make you own ones, following the general theme of the ones in the games. Other than that here are the examples and powers:
Ifrit - Heavy Damage and Fire Element (Can cause ‘Burn’ effect and causes Fire Damage)
Shiva - Heavy Damage and Ice Element (Can cause ‘Freeze’ effect and causes Ice Damage)
Ramuh - Heavy Damage and Lightning Element (Cause Lightning Damage)
Siren - Heavy Damage, Silence (Stops Magic)
Titan - Heavy Damage
NOTE: All Protectors have the Heavy Damage power, yet to make it fair those who have no element do more damage than those with one as they have the Bonus Effects.
Starting Village: Where your character starts:
Octi - The sea village.
Autect - The forest village.
Windi - The mountain village.
Party: The party you’re starting in. To start with we’ll have three parties, one for each village, with a maximum of 5 people in each.
NOTE: All members of a starting party must be from the same village. They may join another party afterwards.
Weapon: You’re characters starting weapon:
Buster Sword - Solider - Ice(60AP, 12MP), Thunder(60AP, 12MP)
Gun Blade - Solider - Fire(60AP, 12MP), Bio (100AP, 15MP)
Long Sword - Solider - Fire(60AP, 12MP) Ice (60AP, 12MP)
Dagger - Solider/Thief - Haste(100AP, 15MP), Slow (100AP, 12MP)
Rod - Black Mage - Ice(60AP, 12MP), Thunder(60AP, 12MP), Fire(60AP, 12MP)
Staff - White Mage - Cure(50AP, 10MP), Life(120AP, 15MP)
Shotgun - Gunner - Scan(120AP, 15MP),
Special: In Final Fantasy this is your Limit Break. You can make one up, it just does Heavy Damage if you’re a solider/gunner, Multiple Damage if you’re a thief, Group Heal if you’re a White Mage, or Group Magic if you’re a Black Mage. All you need to do is to describe the attack.
You start at Lv.1 with:
Health: 500HP
Magic: 25MP
ATK: 25
DEF: 25
MAG: 10
MGD: 10
EVD: 10
EXP: 0
AP: 0
I think that’s about everything for now. Any questions feel free to ask.
Here is my character, so you know how to set it out:
Name: Magnus
Appearance: Long blonde hair, tied in a ponytail, blue eyes. Stone trousers, a black T-shirt and an army (from the RPG world) style navy jacket, unfastened.
Job: Solider
Protector: Grey Wolf - An old grey wolf that does Heavy Damage and casts Haste on the whole party.
Starting Village: Windi
Party: 3
Weapon: Buster Sword
Special: Dash Duel - Magnus runs towards the opponent at a blistering speed with his blade at his side. He finishes the other side of the opponent with the blade at the other side, having slashed the opponent (Heavy Damage)
