too long?

how could you think this movie was too long?
it doesn't even last longer than 2.5 hours

personaly I really liked the plot, had me fooled a couple of times (prolly cause I knew nothing about it) the end was a bit corny tho which was a downer. The acting by Gene Heckman and Dustin Hofman was great (as was to be expected) DH his character did remind me of a more cleaned up version of that lawyer he plays in sleepers tho. The other guy-can't recall his name atm- sucked sorry but he is no good what so ever.
Camera work was nicely done.

I liked this movie. I like "Court" movies and this one has a new (at least for me) take on it. Hackman and Hoffman are ace and yes the ending is quite corny but overall the movie is great.

I got chills when Hackman and Hoffman were in the bathroom, and Gene told him off, before exiting. Ooh boy.

Good movie and even better book. I like John Cusak in it. He does a good job in most movies he's in. 'Liked Identity also.

I think John just did it cuz it was a Grisham book. That's a tight gig for an actor. I hate to say it, I'm kind of tired of these Grisham movies. They are all the same. Think about it, The Firm, The Pelican Breif, Gongo . . . ... laughing out loud Just kidding, that's that other guy who makes all the same stories as well.

But I still enjoyed Runaway Jury once I got passed the Grishamness. And Fire is right about Hackman and Hoffman, they were great.

Grisham is a wonderful author, though a bit redundant. I this movie except that it wasn't what the book was about. But then again, most movies based off Grisham books aren't ver good. The Pelican Brief is the exception.
