Well, if Edna doesn’t have any more bios try this.
Born in the UK (Surrey to be precise) this prolific actor won the Daily Mail Award for Outstanding Television Actor in 1954 and was awarded with an OBE for his services to acting in 1989. It has been said that everyday, somewhere in the world, one of his films is being shown. He also claimed to have filmed most of his scenes in the original Star Wars trilogy (I’m not saying which films from the original trilogy he appears in) wearing a pair of carpet slippers as the boots designed for him turned out to be too small for him to wear.
