I wonder if they will continue with matrix but I just think the ending doesnt really reveal much about the source, the one,Zion but as the architect "How long will the peace last????"
Actually, getting a better write-up here than the Matrix area...
Kes is right, it was never said he was the One in BOTH worlds.
Technically he IS, of course- just his powers donl;t extend to manipulating the real world, of course.
The Oracle said that his powers go beyond THIS world (the Matrix), not BOTH worlds... to the Source.
Kes, did you see this movie in English? Only that Seraph quote you have has confused me.
For my part. you can see my review in the Matrix area, but for a summary- weakest of the three, not because it was crap but simply because it was straightforwards, no EGDE to it; enjoyable enough but nothing that made it stand out hugely.

I totally agree with you on that point
I'd like to add that I'm a bit disappointed by the acting (well, it's not really the kind of movie where the acting is really important, but anyway...). The fact that Kes and Lord Soth undeline the quality of the acting of the man who play Banes (a secondary character) is revealing in this respect.
Well personally I was really disappointed with this movie. It followed the formula so badly, everything was predictable, and the original shined because of its originality. Yeah Banes's part was played well, but the central character, in particular Morhpeus and Trinity, have slipped considerable from their imposing figures in the original, theyre more like 'just another character' now. Only Smith maintained his screen presence. Kes, totally agree with you back there, the rain fight was awful, it was straight out of a DBZ ep, those were my exact thoughts. And i think they overexaggerated the collisions in that fight, it doesnt compare to the Subway fight in the original, extreme but plausible. At least reloaded had the twins and the car chase scene to make up, otherwise both sequels would be equally terrible, all in all, theyve taken all the value out of the magnificent original, and ill live my life pretending there was only one...
I thought the story veered away from what it was presentred to be in the first movie, FREE EVERYONE FROM THE MATIRX! This was all about Zion. It felt like the whole movie could have been an ep of some scifi series. The end was a big dissapointment, I hate it when the ending is inconclusive as much as this was. I mean if it was a single movie it would have been fine, but this is a trilogy, people have waited years to see how all this wroks out! And what do we get, some bullshit peace treaty and an agreement to let SOME of the people go! I waited years to see if the machines are deafeted and the people are free but what I got was a truce. There can be no truce because for all people to be free the machines would lose their power and essentially die.
And Neo end was another let down. If he's dead he's dead end of story and if he's alive he's alive. But in the end we find out that he might or might not be alive! I think that this movie was a pathetic end to an otherwise incredible story.
revolutions was very well made. The story kept up with the continuity of the previous two. Many people were upset with the typical, predictable ending. The story of the matrix holds such vast possibilities, every one made up there own story and ending in there head.I believe this is why so many people were disgusted with it. Of course the wachowski brothers could have made an ending no one expected. They could have done many things with it, but the final prject is the story they wished to tell. And it is very clear. Reloaded was filled with enough twists, and these twists werent for the aduiences benefit, but for the shaping of there own vision. They diddnt make a movie that relied on an ending or a sole scene, it was a movie that took everything from the previous movies and incoorperated it in a finale. It was a great consistant movie that gave us an ending that gave the story meaning, and left enough questions to let the story live on forever in our minds. People need to stop bit*chen about what the movie diddnt have, and look at what it does have.
I know there are people that genuienly diddnt like the film, but there are others that diddnt like it because it diddnt give the meaning they gave it, meaning that was never intended.

Ok, Well I finally saw it.... and quite frankly, it was good. (no that is not sarcasm). However, It was not without its flaws.
First, I'll get the flaws out of the way.... First off, there were too many arbitrary one liners... ("Neo....he fights for us". Was that statement really necessary? No.) Also, the first part of the movie definately had to much of the same preachy dialogue that I didn't care for in Reloaded, luckily it was not as big a part of it in Revolutions, so it is forgiveable. I also thought [SPOILER - highlight to read]: trinity's death scene was way way to drawn out . Also, some of the fights were so over the top they crossed into the 'cheezy' chart, a bit too much flying around in the fight with smith and Neo, but again, this was all forgivable. There weren't really any huge flaws in the film, other then the preahy dialogue, but then again, not everyone will see that as a flaw.
Now to the strong parts, the battle in Zion was absolutely AweInspiring, I thought probably the best scene in any matrix film, although a bit more tragedy would have been helpful to demonstrating the sacrafices that must be had during war. The visuals were also astounding, and the movie held scenes of tremendous beauty. I especially liked the scene in witch [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Neo and Trinity rise above the clouds on their way to the machine city, and see the beautiful sunny sky ...Very striking scene. I also really enjoyed how this film seemed to be more aimed at character development, rather then philisophical idea's that don't really lead anywhere necessary, I'm glad to see them trying to focus on making us care about the characters in revolutions again, much like the first matrix.
The first matrix... still the pinicle of the series... pretty much answered all the questions we needed answered, and gave us the basic idea of how the story of the matrix would end, thus eliminating the need for sequels, and although Revolution returned to form, and was a much improvement over reloaded... still, I must remember the final line Neo uttered in voice over at teh end of the first film..."I did not come here to tell you how this would end...only begin" Perhaps it would have been a wiser decision had that statement been true...
I'll give it 3 out of 4 stars

I don't think they developed Trinity's and Neo's realtionship well enough. They've been together for three films yet[SPOILER - highlight to read]: when she died I, and I bet many others, didn't feel very saddened by it.
I think that the Matrix lost it's originality in the third film. That's what made the movies special and successful I think, but with the very predictable ending the entire story was ruined.
