Seriously man, you gotta lose that smiley. The joke's getting a bit old, and half of it is, without exception, off-topic. roll eyes (sarcastic)

I have the issue. Wolverine was trying to rescue Amiko. He fought sabes without his healing factor. He was about to die when Sabes lost his healing thanks to leech. Wolverine stabs sabes in the throat. Wolverine "dies" and the following issue is a death sequence where he meets rose but he thinks she is Jean. He reminisces of his life and fights a few dead villains with the help of the deceased colossus at that time.
At the end of the Issue wolvies healing factor kicks in and brings him back to life. He was officially dead cos his heart stopped but 23 minutes later or something it brings him back................

going by the x-men's policy of non-lethal force, doesn't "best, most deadly, x-man" become a contradiction?

but in 616 wolvie would win, coz cyke aint really a killer by nature is he? and so wolvie may be a little heavy handed for a x man lol. but if there is ever need for lethal force he would be the xman called upon right?

not necessarily, for lethal force you could call upon storm, or polaris. and storm and polair would also kick wolvies ass.

except storm's promised not to kill numerous times, though she really seemed to have no qualms breaking said promise when it came to fighting the morlock women. lethal? of course. murderous? doubtful.

wolverine's clearly the x-man with the least trouble sleeping at night after killing somebody. not arguing that. just arguing that that technically disqualifies him as the "best" x-man, given the x-men's standing policies.

Emma Frost doesn't have all too many qualms about killing.

Is wolverine the only one who doesn't feel bad after killing someone. I mean the x-men aren't the kind of people who kill the bad guy's, but wolvie does kill, so why did they let him into the x-men?

jean grey, the most hit-and-miss member of the x-men and alleged accomplice to the murder of entire galaxies? she might be an old timer of the team, and her heart's mostly in the right place, but that don't make her the best on any conceptual level. unless you define "best" as the most obnoxiously powerful for the most confusing and continuously misinterpreted of reasons.

well compared to her wolverine is about as deadly as a cold.... she much more deadly then him... so wouldn't that make her the best... seeing as all you value about him was his "deadly" attitude... if cyke started saying bub every 20 seconds would he become more deadly???

actually now, she's willing to kill, and the only reason she hasn't killed anyone yet is oddly enough......wolverine talks her out of it.

Wouldn't happen to 616-Wolverine.

That's because he doesn't sleep well at night. He knows the horrors of being a killer, and doesn't want anyone else to suffer from it.
