I like all of the tracks on London Calling and all are not represented on the story, ergo I like London Calling a lot better.
Dont get me wrong I like most Clash stuff, but London Calling is very special album.

I ask, no demand, that anyone who doesn't own the "Complete Stone Roses" album should run directly out and buy it. Class. That and anything by Paul Weller. Again class. cool

I own non of the above, but on the basis that if I did they would end up being coasters, I doubt there will be any running today.

Guess it's just a matter of different tastes...

i've got the best of the stone roses although i prefer oasis and all of the other indie bands who sprung up in the mid 90's, the stone roses were a bit before i got into music, but because of the decline in british music i've had to move across the pond and listen to american bands such as blink 182, sum 41 and other punk like bands, in the decline of british music i also include coldplay and travis, the supposed saviours of british music, its just depressing drivel to me, travis can apparently only sing songs where they repeat the same words over and over again and coldplay are just plain depressing. i'm fed up of listening to bands and artists who just rely on computers and clever producers to manufacture a soubd for them, although i obviously appreciate trend setters such as britney spears, a cultural revolution if ever there was one big grin

ROCK ON!!!

I completley agree.
British guitar music has gone down hill since about 1997.
The Charlatans, Ian Brown and Oasis are the only ones still making great albums.

It's the opinion of most people my age. It's only now I know how lucky I was to grow up in the 90's with so many great bands, because now there is hardly anything.
