heavy metal for me, maybe a bit more towards the hard rock or progressive rock (Purple, Zeppelin, Sabbath) and the in between Hard/progressive rock and Metal (Ac DC) rather than the Brit metal that evolved around the lat 70`s early 80`s (Priest, Maiden ) even though I like the latter as well.
