I thought it was great. And in the second one, you find out that [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Porthios is alive! No, just sometime in 2008 is what I heard.
Is that trilogy good so far? I haven't picked any of them up yet.
Dang, so far from now? Yeah, I think that they're worth reading. There's a really big twist in the plot at the end of Amber and Iron.
I just recently bought Dragons of the Dwarven Depths. Unfortunately, I've got a few other books to work through, so it'll be a while before I can read it.

I've been kind of skimming through Dragons of Dwarven Depths, and it seems alright, but I cant understand why the adventures weren't mentioned more in the Chronicles! I thought it was going to be a small little quest, but boy, was I wrong! it's an actual, full-fledged adventure!
Haha! That's probably because they wanted to keep the War of the Lance as a trilogy, and recounting the story of finding the Hammer of Kharas would've taken up way too many pages.
