Maybe we learn that Harry is a descendant of Voldemort? The “small part” may be were Harry wonders if HE is the heir.
Voldemort didn’t figure on the family tree of pure-bloods, that were on the wall in Sirius’ house. We know very little off Thomas Riddles life. In book 4 we learn that 50 years ago the Riddles were all killed, which makes Thomas the right age to be Harrys grandfather. But maybe young Mr. Potter is actually an heir to both Houses?

Ok. I just started reading this thread, so I dont know if ne1 else has pointed this out or not....Have ne of u been to JKR's website?? Someone asked if Harry was the heir of Slytherin (or something like that, I dont remeber exactly. It might have been if he was related to Voldy, and if he was that would make him the heir,) but she said no, he wasn't. So that theory is out the window.

Also.........IT COULD BE WITH THE SWORD!!! The sword was a small part in the movie...BUT A BIG ONE@@!!! And the snake too...we know lord v has a bassilsk.

but I think it will be Ginny..........THERE'S ALL KINDS OF SIGNS THAT POINT TO THEM BEING TOGETHER!! love smile
that snake wasn't a bassilisk, it was just a large snake!

I agree pretty angel. I really can't see Harry and Ginny together. I can see him and cho again. At the end of ootp he just had bigger fish to fry with Sirius' death than to be thinking of Cho. The news that she was going out with micheal corner isn't going to be bad news to him or hurt him! Sirius is far more important!!! but when he gradually comes to terms with it, i think we'll see more of them! Not sure about Lilys parents though?? Im sure they were muggles cos Lily's been called a mudblood! xx

I think Harry and Luna will get together. They both share the loss of a loved one, and as school, and adventure, becomes more taxing for Harry, he's going to need someone who he can relate to. I know people assume Luna's nuts, but they all thought Harry was crazy for a while, another thing they have in common. I also know he has Hermione and Ron, but as their feelings for one another develop (as I'm sure they will) Harry's going to want someone else he can grow close to. I don't think Ginny will become that person, she's grown out of him! I think the bit at the end of OotP, where Harry asked Luna if she wanted help finding her stuff, is hinting at something more to come between them both. This had nothing to do with the original question, but I'm trying to keep with the flow of the last few posts..........

I'm very surprised

It's simple, while the Hand of Glory is important, the thing I believe she was referring to was The Vanishing Cabinet. It's barely even mentioned in CoS yet played a HUGE role HBP
