Mind you I'm not really an X-Men fan, I dont get orgasims every time Wolverine shows his blades!
I was very suprised with this movie! It was very well done! Not one dull moment! The special effects were very good, the story very atmospheric, and Rebecca Romaign Stamos, well
And it didn't drag on and on like the first one, it was very well edited!

I tend to agree : there is not much action in it. But I preferred the fact that, even though it had a budget, for which many French directors would kill their parents, it looks like a small film ( I would say 'handmade' if it wasn't a movie) in a certain extent..., that is to say not like a huge movie designed to be a great hit (many scenes are done without any music,...). I just liked it more, even if there are some very great things in X2
both x-men movies seem to feel different since one had a bigger budget than the other did. at cinema confidential, when i was reading about x3, the script writers said that they originally were going to have angel in the first two but could never get it to work. that's why you can see the pix on the dvd early.
